RentReader is a browser extension and dashboard that helps users save, organize, and compare real estate listings from supported property websites.

Data We Collect

• Google account identifier and email address for authentication.
• Real estate listing data saved by the user, including listing URL, title, price, address or location, description, images, source website, notes, and user-defined status.
• Basic technical data required to operate and protect the service, such as request metadata, authentication status, diagnostic events, and error logs.

How We Use Data

• To authenticate users and keep their accounts secure.
• To save and synchronize listings between the RentReader browser extension and the RentReader dashboard.
• To display saved listings, notes, statuses, photos, and comparison data.
• To maintain, debug, secure, and improve the service.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell user data.
• We do not use user data for advertising.
• We do not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• We do not read unrelated browsing history.
• We do not collect medical, financial, payment, or personal communication data.

Browser Extension Access

The RentReader extension runs on supported real estate websites so it can extract listing details selected or saved by the user. Host permissions are limited to supported websites, required image/CDN domains, and RentReader service endpoints.

Data Sharing

User data is not shared with third parties except where required to operate the service, provide infrastructure services necessary for RentReader, comply with the law, protect rights and safety, or prevent abuse.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and listing data while the account is active or as needed to operate the service. Users may request deletion of their account and saved listing data by contacting us.
